Preparing your files for print

Acceptable File Formats

Application Files – Always current with our graphics software but only maintains 2 versions lower.

• Quark Xpress

• Adobe InDesign

• Adobe Photoshop

• Illustrator

Postscript Files

• .prn (PC)

• .ps (MAC)

PDF (Portable Document Format)

• We can accept any PDF, whether done in MS Word or Excel, as long as it conforms to our specs. Download our own Acrobat Preset Setting: PC Version or MAC Version

• Click on one of the two links above, save the file to your computer and unzip the preset file to the same location

• Open Acrobat Distiller – Go to Settings – Select “Add Adobe PDF Settings” and choose the file saved in the previous step.
  
  

Formats

• Save images as .tiff or .eps

• Avoid using .jpeg, as it diminishes image quality every time you open and save the file

• We can handle DCS files
